We look forward to working with you, and we hope that you will feel at home at our department.
To make it easier for you to become familiar with the university's many different sets of rules for research, salary, personnel and safety, etc. and the many IT-based functions and systems you need, we have compiled a list of the most important ones below.
All new employees are encouraged to participate in AU's introduction days, which will be held every other month.
The event is for all salaried employees - PhD students, researchers, secretaries, caretakers, consultants, project employees, cleaning staff, etc.
At the introduction day, the new employees will meet the senior management at AU, and be introduced to the university's overall strategies and values. There will be an opportunity to gain insight into the organisational structure, liaison committees, the union representatives, and rules and guidelines for employees at AU. The new employees also gain the opportunity of creating their first network of colleagues in the organisation.
