There is a security station on the platforms on the 2nd and 5th floors.

Heart defibrillator

There is a defibrillator in the foyer by the main entrance and on the platform on the 5th floor.

Heart defibrillator is an easy first-aid tool with voice guides for proper use. You do not need a course to use the defibrillator, but you can benefit from these links:

You may of course have a look at the heart defibrillator, but please be careful not to start the machine or pull the lever unless you in a situation where this is necessary.

If you pull the lever, the gel plate that is to affixed to the patient will dry out and be unusable. If you see that the lever has been pulled or the machine was started unnecessarily, please contact the head of the safety organisation, the safety representative or the office.

Respirator

A respirator is located at the platform at the 2nd and 5th floor".

The respirator (half mask to be used for minor accident in the laboratory) is a "Moldex compact mask" to protect against gases, vapours and dust. Protection level [EN405: 2001 + A1: 2009] FFABEK1P3 RD (5430)

Applications:

Organic gases/fumes with boiling point >65°C(For solvents from adhesives, paints, paint spray, pesticides)
Inorganic gases/fumes with boiling point >65°C(For chlorine, bromine, nitric acid, sulfur dioxide)
Acid gases(For hydrogen chloride, nitric acid, sulfuric acid)
Ammonia and amine derivatives
Fine toxic dust, fumes, water and oil-based mists/aerosols
