Registration of project classifications in connection with gene technology

Registration is required for laboratory work in which genetically modified microorganisms, genetically modified animals or plants are included.Applications for classifications are taken care of directly at the department.

Registration of new research projects

If you wish to report a new genetic science research project, you must contact Hans Henrik Gad hhg@mbg.au.dk, who can help you to obtain the necessary information and to register the project via the Danish Working Environment Authority's website.

Changes or extension of existing research project classifications

If you have any changes to your research project, or if it is to be extended or closed, please contact Birgitte Larsen blarsen@mbg.au.dk, who will be responsible for reporting the necessary changes via the Danish Working Environment Authority's website.

Notification of classification of gene technology laboratories and laboratory areas

If you wish to report or deregister a laboratory for genetic engineering experiments, please contact Dorthe Caroline Riishøj dcr@mbg.au.dk, who will make the submissions via the Danish Working Environment Authority's website.
